Results are all that matter!
Mission statements provide organizational purpose, vision statements describe where the organization is heading, and value statements outline the structure from which the organization can operate from… all of which are very nice. Unfortunately, if you don’t achieve results as a leader it doesn’t matter!
As one leader we work with eloquently stated, “Unless we start hitting some numbers around here, we’re going to be talking about what a great place this was to work at!” Eminem rapped about it, and we’ll echo his sentiments… As a leader you’ve only got one shot, or one opportunity, to seize everything you ever wanted… If that time was now, would you capture it, or just let it slip? Bottom line: You better make it count, and you better focus on results!
