Why is Business Development NOT Producing Sales?
Times are tough… and they’re never easy when you’re in business development / sales. After all, you’re only as good as the current month (Last month is, afterall, history.) As a matter of fact, we’ve been told on several occasions by sales leadership that “if it wasn’t for those lying customers and salespeople, this would be a great place to work!”
Business Development strategy needs to be revamped/refreshed, especially in this post-recession “new economy.” What worked in the past may work in the present, but will not set you up for success in the future.
