Leadership Team Alignment

Leadership Alignment Ducks

Here a Leader, There a Leader, Everywhere a Leader, Leader!

Ask several leaders in your organization what the mission, vision, and values are for their division/department… if they come up with anything different from what the organization’s mission, vision, and values are you’re in need of alignment.  Alignment is the method through which each and every participant is not only on the same page, but heading in the same direction.

In 2006 Pathos Leadership Group was brought into an organization to align leaders who were all over the business map.  Customers were confused, the inmates (i.e., employees) were running the asylum (i.e., the organization), and each and every leader was running their department how they saw fit regardless of organizational or CEO goals.  Through a series of alignment meetings with each team, it became evident that the strategic planning for the organization was not being shared with the leaders and subsequent employees.  Furthermore, no one was holding anyone accountable.
